The Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture is pleased to announce that the Government of The Bahamas will be a signatory to the Anti-doping Administration and Management System (ADAMS Program), as part of the country's on-going efforts and continued commitment to ensure that Bahamian athletes reach and maintain their optimal performance levels, while remaining "drug free" throughout their sporting careers.

Aruba and the British Virgin Islands are the newest members of the Caribbean Regional Anti-Doping Organization (RADO).  Their applications were approved when the RADO Board held its annual Board meeting in the Federation of Kitts and Nevis from 11-12 February 2012 under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth, Empowerment and Sports in collaboration with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
